Welcome to the website of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Freetown.

It is with great honor and pleasure that I have commenced my duties as the Third Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Sierra Leone.

Started in 1971, Türkiye-Sierra Leone relations are built on a strong foundation, as our cooperation is constantly deepening and diversifying in all spheres.

After the inauguration of our Embassy in Freetown in 2018, relations between our countries have developed rapidly. Our trade increased almost threefold since then, and numerous agreements have been signed, strengthening the basis of relations in various fields.

During my tenure, we will make every effort for furthering our relations in all dimensions with Salone, which we consider a key partner in Africa, as well as for strengthening the friendship and solidarity between our peoples.

I would like to emphasize that the doors of our Embassy remain open to everyone im pursuit of strengthening and advancing relations between our peoples and countries.
